The workshop is running. The front desk is snowed under.

The customer wants to know when you can take the car, what it will cost, and whether it will be ready tonight. Meanwhile, nobody is free to pick up the phone. Here is what Traxo takes on for you, job by job.

In short

A Google listing that gets you found for “garage + your town”, workshop bookings with the right durations, an AI receptionist that answers when there is nobody on the desk, quotes approved by the customer before the work starts, and service reminders that bring the cars back.

People look for a garage that can take the car this week

A driver isn't looking for the best garage: they are looking for the one that can take them soon, near home, at a price they know in advance. They look at the Google listing, the reviews, and whether there is a way to book without ringing.

Traxo sets up your website and your listing together, with a page for each service — servicing, timing belts, tyres, air conditioning — and for each town. The appointment is booked there, with the model of the vehicle and the reason for the visit.

  • A page for each service and each town you cover
  • Google listing and Maps kept up to date, with your real hours
  • Workshop bookings taken online, with the registration and the model

Nobody on the desk, and the phone ringing

In a small workshop, whoever answers is whoever is working. You wipe your hands, take the call, write it down in a notebook — or you let it ring, and the customer calls the next garage.

The AI receptionist answers in the garage's name, asks for the vehicle, the symptom and the mileage, and offers a slot based on what you actually have free. You get the request in writing, with the registration, ready to prepare.

One ramp, one duration, one appointment

An oil change doesn't tie up the ramp the way a timing belt does. When everyone books “the morning”, the workshop ends up with three vehicles at 8am and a free ramp at 2pm — and a customer waiting in reception for nothing.

Every service carries its duration and the bay it takes up. The calendar keeps track of the ramps, the mechanics and the cars in for the day, and offers the customer a drop-off the night before when the job needs it.

The quote accepted before anything is taken apart

The worst moment of the day is the call telling a customer it is €400 more than expected, with the car in pieces on the ramp. They feel trapped, you lose time, and the Google review lands that evening.

The additional quote goes out from the workshop, with photos of the part in question, and the customer accepts it from their phone. You have it in writing, they have understood what they are paying for, and the work starts again ten minutes later.

Common mistake

Getting extra work approved over the phone with no record. It is the main cause of disputes at handover, and it's easy to remove.

05

The customer who comes back for the next service

A workshop customer comes back once or twice a year. If nobody gets in touch, they turn back into a stranger who will run another Google search the next time a warning light comes on — and nothing says they will find you.

Traxo keeps the history per vehicle: work done, mileage, parts fitted. The reminder goes out at the right moment, for the service, the vehicle inspection or the seasonal tyres. And the review request goes out at handover, when the customer is happy to be driving again.

“The service reminders bring customers back on their own. We don't rely on their memory any more.”

Common questions

Your regulars will carry on ringing. Online booking picks up the new ones, in the evening and at weekends, when the workshop is shut — volume you don't see today.
