Test drives booked, and buyers you stop losing.

A keen buyer with no answer within the hour buys somewhere else. And a badly organised test drive is an hour spent on a browser. Here's how to sort and follow up without losing your evenings.

Test drives booked, papers done

A test drive ties up a person and a vehicle for an hour. Out of three test drives only one buyer has really decided — the other two have no current licence, no finance and no immediate intention.

The test drive is booked online, with the driving licence and ID uploaded in advance, and the slot only exists if the vehicle is free. You know who is coming, in which car, and what they're after.

  • Test drive slots per vehicle, not only per salesperson
  • Licence and ID asked for at booking
  • Plans and finance filled in ahead

The buyer decides in 48 hours

A buyer who drove two cars on Saturday makes up their mind before Wednesday. With no news from you they decide on the other dealer — with no ill will, simply because somebody called them back.

Every contact is tracked: car seen, offer made, part exchange valued, follow-up due. You can see at a glance which deals are open and which need a call today.

Common mistake

Relying on your memory after a Saturday with six test drives. Two buyers never get followed up, and they're often the two most serious.

03

A car on hold means a deposit

“Hold it for me until Friday” takes a vehicle off sale and guarantees nothing. Meanwhile two buyers are turned away from a test drive, and on Friday the first one doesn't answer.

A reservation goes through a deposit paid online, on clear terms. The vehicle comes off sale, the expiry date is set, and it goes back on sale automatically if nothing comes of it.

  • Reservation deposit paid online
  • Reservation limited in time, automatically
  • Back on sale with nothing for you to do

Your own window, not just listings

Your adverts on the big listing sites cost you dearly and put you side by side with everyone else. The serious buyer then searches for your name to reassure themselves before driving two hundred kilometres.

Your website shows your stock, your warranties and your reviews, with the test drive bookable on it. Reviews are asked for after handover, when the customer is pleased with the car — and that's what reassures the next one.

“Test drives are booked with the paperwork already done. We don't lose Saturdays to browsers.”

Common questions

Vehicles are published and withdrawn in one line, and a car that's sold disappears from the bookable test drives immediately.
