Your chair is taken. Your phone isn't.

A client decides to book at 10pm, from her sofa. You are closed — or you have your hands in a colour. Here is what Traxo takes on for you, job by job, and what it changes over a week in the salon.

In short

Booking open day and night with the right duration for each service, a deposit that puts an end to no-shows, an AI receptionist that answers while you work, appointment reminders by text, and Google reviews asked for automatically after the visit.

10pm

the time a client looks for a salon: long after you have closed.

1 in 8

no-shows in a salon with no deposit and no reminder.

4.6

the rating below which a new client moves on to the next salon.

01

People look for you in the evening and want to book straight away

A new client's journey takes two minutes: she types “hairdresser” and her town, looks at the ratings, opens two listings, and picks the one showing recent photos and a button to book. If the only way to reach you is a number to ring tomorrow, she doesn't book with you.

Traxo sets up your website and your Google listing with booking on both. Your services, your durations, your prices, photos of your work: the client picks her slot without disturbing you, and the appointment drops straight into your calendar.

  • Booking from Google, Instagram and your own website
  • A page for each service and each area you cover
  • Your work in photos, updated with no technical help

The phone rings in the middle of a colour

In a salon the call always comes at the wrong moment: your gloves are on and the client next to you is waiting to be rinsed. You let it ring, and the person at the other end calls the next salon — or never rings back.

The AI receptionist answers with your salon's name, knows your services and your availability, offers a slot and books it in. You get a written summary. Whatever it can't deal with, you ring back on your break, already knowing what it's about.

Every service carries its own duration, and nothing overlaps

A men's cut, a colour with processing time, a set of nails: three different durations. When the client can only book an hour, the day comes off the rails at the second appointment — and you are the one phoning to move people.

In Traxo, every service carries its real duration, its processing time and the time it takes to reset the station. The calendar places appointments accordingly, per stylist and per chair or room, and offers the gaps to the clients on the waiting list.

The booked slot that doesn't turn up

A client who doesn't come is two hours of empty chair that you never get back. Over a month it often adds up to more than all your tools put together — and it's the only income you never recover.

Traxo asks for a deposit at booking, on the services you choose: the long ones, new clients, Saturdays. The reminder goes out the day before by text with a link to cancel, and a slot cancelled in time goes straight back out to the clients waiting.

Common mistake

Dropping the deposit for fear of offending. A deposit presented as a firm booking doesn't scare off good clients: it filters out the ones booking in three salons at once.

05

Google reviews, and the clients who come back

People choose a salon on the reviews and the photos, almost never on the price. The problem is well known: your happy clients don't think to write anything, and asking at the till makes everyone uncomfortable.

The request goes out automatically the next day, by text, with the link to your listing. Unhappy clients reach you first, not the public. And when a client hasn't been back for six weeks, a quiet reminder offers her usual slot.

“The day-before reminders got rid of my Saturday gaps. And I don't ask for reviews myself any more, they just arrive.”

Common questions

Your regulars will carry on phoning, and that's fine: online booking is mainly for new clients, in the evening and at weekends, when you can't answer. Both routes feed the same calendar, so there are never two diaries to keep.
