A diary that holds, from the first chair to the last.

Cut, colour, balayage, blow-dry: four different lengths, processing time, several chairs and sometimes two stylists. Here is how all of that fits in a diary your clients fill themselves.

In short

Every service has its real length and its processing time, the diary holds several chairs and several stylists, a deposit protects the colour appointments and the Saturdays, the reminder goes out the day before, and the Google reviews ask for themselves.

Processing time counts too

A colour is not an hour of continuous work: it is twenty minutes of application, a processing time, a rinse and a blow-dry. As long as the diary only knows “1 hr”, you are behind from the second appointment on, and you end up ringing the five o'clock client to move her.

Every service is set up with the time it occupies and its processing time. During a processing time, the diary can put a men's cut in the same chair if you allow it — you decide whether your dead time gets filled or stays quiet.

  • Length, processing time and tidying the station, per service
  • A diary per stylist, with her specialities and her holidays
  • Saturday slots protected by a deposit if you want

Saturday gaps filled before noon

A last-minute cancellation on a Saturday balayage is two and a half hours you will not get back. Ringing clients one by one to fill it takes time you have not got in the middle of the day.

The slot that frees up is offered automatically to the clients on the waiting list, by text, in the order they asked. The first to reply takes it. All you see is your diary filling up.

A real example

A 9am cancellation for a 2pm balayage. Three clients on the list get the slot; it is taken at 9.12am without a single phone call.

The client who stops coming

A client who used to come every six weeks and has not been in for three months is lost without a sound: nobody tells you, and you only notice when you pass her new colour in the street.

Traxo keeps every client's history — services, colour formulas, usual stylist, how often she comes — and flags the unusual absences. A quiet message offers her Thursday evening slot, and she is back without having had to think about it.

  • History and colour record per client
  • A gentle nudge after a gap you set
  • Appointment reminder the day before, with a cancellation link
04

What brings new clients in

A new client judges you on two things: recent photos that look like what she wants, and reviews from the last few weeks. A salon with good work on show and twenty recent reviews is no longer compared on price with the place next door.

The review request goes out the day after the appointment, with a direct link to your Google listing. Negative feedback reaches you privately first: you ring, you offer to put it right, and it ends in the salon rather than in public.

“The colours are set up with the processing time. I do not finish at eight at night catching up any more.”

Common questions

Each stylist has her own diary, her own services and her own holidays. The client can pick her usual stylist, or let the diary offer the first one free.
