Twenty-minute slots that turn over without a wait.

A barber lives on flow: short services, regulars, and a queue that puts off everyone walking past the window. Here is how to keep the flow without making people wait.

01

Bookable ten minutes ahead

Your typical customer decides on the move: he looks at his phone and wants to know whether there is room now. If he finds a number to ring, or a queue of six, he keeps walking.

Traxo shows the short slots in real time, bookable up to ten minutes before. A minimum notice protects you from impossible bookings, and any slot nobody books stays open to whoever walks in.

  • Slots of 20 to 45 minutes, visible in real time
  • Bookable up to ten minutes beforehand
  • A diary per barber, so the regulars keep theirs
02

The queue lives on the phone

A full shop reassures from a distance and puts people off up close: the man who opens the door and sees five people sat down walks out again. And you spend the day guessing waiting times out loud.

A walk-in joins the queue from his phone, gets an estimate, and a text when his turn is close. He goes for a coffee and comes back at the right moment; your shop is no longer stacked with people sitting around.

A real example

Saturday, 11am, four people waiting. Each one gets his estimated time by text: the shop stays calm and nobody leaves before his turn.

03

The regular, every three weeks

A barber lives on regularity: the same customer, every three or four weeks. When he skips one, he usually skips two, and then he tries somewhere else — with nothing to warn you.

Traxo knows each customer's rhythm and sends a quiet reminder as his usual date comes round, with the link to take his slot. The monthly plans are paid in advance and tracked automatically.

  • A reminder at each customer's own rhythm
  • Plans and prepaid cards paid online
  • A history of cuts and preferences per customer
04

Recent reviews are what count

In a walk-in trade, where you sit on Google decides who pushes the door open. What matters is not thirty reviews from 2022: it is the reviews from the last few weeks and photos of recent cuts.

After every appointment, the review request goes out by text. Because your volume is high, the listing fills up fast and stays fresh — it is mechanical, and it is exactly what the algorithm looks at.

“People join the queue from the pavement. I do not lose the ones who see a full shop any more.”

Common questions

You can open no slots at all and use only the virtual queue, plus the website and the Google listing. Plenty of barbers keep a mix: half booked, half walk-in.
