Construction & renovationElectrician

Every job has its length, its price and its slot.

A socket to add, a consumer unit to replace, a total power cut: three jobs that share neither a length nor a price. Here is how your calendar tells them apart without you picking up the phone.

01

A job booked, not just an hour

An electrician spends his day catching up on badly sized appointments: it was “one socket”, and there are three rooms to redo. The quote gets written in the hallway, the day overruns, and the next job waits.

Every job carries its length and its price bracket, and the booking asks what you need to know first: type of property, age, number of points, photos of the consumer unit. You know what you are walking into before you load the van.

  • Photos of the consumer unit asked for at booking
  • A price range per job, set by you
  • Long jobs blocked out in half-days
02

Faults do not wait for your lunch

A total power cut, a board that keeps tripping: the customer rings again and again. You are up a ladder or under a floor, you do not pick up, and the job goes elsewhere.

The AI receptionist takes the call, tells a dead installation from an inconvenience, notes the address and the type of installation, then sends you the essentials. You ring back knowing whether it is now or tomorrow morning.

A real example

A customer reports a burning smell at the consumer unit: the AI receptionist logs it as an emergency, offers your 5pm slot and alerts you by text. All you had to do was confirm.

03

Rewiring, quoted in one visit

An electrical refurbishment is won or lost on the survey. Traxo treats it as a job in its own right: 45 minutes, bookable at the end of the day, with a questionnaire filled in beforehand — floor area, number of rooms, age of the installation, whether there is an earth.

The quote picks all of that up and goes out the same evening. The deposit asked for on signing holds the week in your diary, and the automatic chaser stops the quote sitting in an inbox for three weeks.

04

Certificates filed, reviews up

Every job stays attached to the customer's record: amount, before-and-after photos, certificate of compliance. When he rings a year later to add something, you find the file in ten seconds instead of digging through your texts.

And the review request goes out the next day, with the link to your Google listing. For an electrician, the rating and the number of reviews count for more than any local advertising: it is what people look at before they ring.

  • A full history per customer and per property
  • Certificates and photos stored with the job
  • Review request sent automatically the next day

“Asking for photos of the board up front has cut my wasted trips in half.”

Common questions

We set up broad families — call-out, installation, refurbishment — each with a bracket and an average length, plus a questionnaire. The point is not to predict everything, it is to stop thirty-minute appointments taking three hours.
